As a Product Development Manager, your mission is to guarantee continuous product availability for both current and upcoming loyalty programs on a global scale. Working with your Category Sourcing team, you will be the expert for product ranges and concepts within designated categories and franchises. You will be tasked with overseeing product categories for each franchise, including lead management, product development, and product data management. Your success will hinge on your ability to navigate challenges like evolving requirements and strict deadlines, while consistently developing and delivering necessary products and keeping both internal and external stakeholders updated.

Job description
As a Product Development Manager you will work from the global head office in Den Bosch. Together in a team of 5 colleagues you are responsible for the development and production of special promotional products. You work closely with the sourcing team in Hong Kong and your colleagues based in Italy. Being the expert on product, cost and capacity, you will often be the direct contact person towards sales and project management. You oversee all pending leads and programs and are also looking out for new trends, materials, production techniques & product innovations.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing products across franchises, leading the development of product strategies and analyses
- Managing product lifecycles, both long and short term, including data and stock management
- Leading projects for new pitch-driven and portfolio-driven product development, proactively communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Serving as the centre point of all product knowledge, providing product and category information to key internal and external teams as required
- Acting as a project leader, effectively communicating the required outcomes and providing direction to achieve those outcomes
- Joining client meetings on request to demonstrate the most valuable features of products and connecting them to the customer’s key challenges

- Salary up to € 5500 gross per month, depending on experience.

Job requirements
We are on the lookout for a culture fit. On top of that, as expert in your field, the following applies to you:
- You bring 3-5 years of experience in sourcing and product development, experience in retail, advertising agencies, or FMCG/wholesale is a requirement.
- You are an expert on product, cost, capacity and sustainability.
- You are sales and support driven.
- Your English is fluent.
- Flexible, yet pragmatic. Whatever it takes, you make it happen.
- You work in a structured way and you have an eye for detail.
- You are empathic and like looking at things from different perspectives.
