As a Concept Development Manager, your mission is to develop the best ready-to-sell concepts based on product safety, quality and sustainability briefings with a focus on commercialization of loyalty merchandise and franchises. Our client is an expert in loyalty programs on a global scale. Working with your team, you will be the expert for product ranges and concepts within designated categories and franchises. You will be tasked with concept developments based on 360 degree approaches such as activations, media and instore promotions. Your success will hinge on your ability to navigate and keep up with innovations and market trends. Of course you will keep both internal and external stakeholders updated about your latest creative developments.

Job description
As a Concept Development Manager you will work from the global head office in Den Bosch. Together with your team, you are responsible for the concept development procedures of special promotional products. You work closely with other teams, such as Product Development, Sourcing and Licensing. You will often be the direct contact person towards sales and project management. You oversee all pending leads and deadlines, ensuring all information is reported on time to all teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop the best concepts based on product safety, quality and sustainability briefings;
- Create ready-to-sell concepts based on 360 degree approaches (e.g. concept, activation, media & instore);
- Keep up with innovations & trends to develop unique and competitive concepts;
- Align on licensing opportunities with other departments: Creative (for guidance), Licensing (for approvals) and Innovation (for developments);
- Join sales team meetings to share your expertise with clients;
- Report relevant information on a regular basis to both internal and external stakeholders;
- Assist the business throughout the concept development implementation using your expertise;
- Act as a concept project manager, effectively communicating the required outcomes and providing direction to achieve those outcomes.

- Salary up to € 4500 gross per month based on fulltime, depending on experience;

Job requirements
Our client is on the lookout for a culture fit. On top of that, as expert in your field, the following applies to you:
- You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in concept development management, preferably in promotions or the entertainment market;
- You are an expert in concept development procedures and reporting;
- You are commercial and support driven;
- Your English is fluent, both oral and written;
- Flexible, yet pragmatic. Whatever it takes, you make it happen;
- You work in a structured way and you have an eye for detail;
- You are empathic and like looking at things from different perspectives.
