Your responsibilities

As a Marketing and Communication specialist at Cargo Control Group, it will be your job to further professionalize the company's marketing and communications expressions. You know how to bring the products of Cargo Control Company to the attention of potential customers in a creative way, where the further elaboration is done by (external) specialists.

Your tasks include:

  • Development and management of marketing materials like (online) content, video’s, brochures, testimonials, mailings and campaigns;
  • Align and maintain internal and external corporate marketing communications;
  • Develop and optimize the various websites of Cargo Control Company (Corporate and Webshops);
  • Managing Social Media accounts, both content and messaging;
  • Public relations and media management;
  • Working closely with sales to develop and execute (online) sales activities.

In the Netherlands the office is based in Tiel, you will be part of the Marketing team consisting of a Marketing manager and a part-time marketing specialist. In this role you will work intensively with departments like product management and sales.

What we are looking for?

For this role we are looking for a self-starter. You are not afraid to come up with new ideas and to convince colleagues of these ideas. You can handle responsibility well, but also know when to ask for help. In addition you have:

  • A bachelor in for instance Social Science, Business Administration, Marketing and/or Communication;
  • A Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Marketing and Communications role;
  • Experience with the development of Marketing and Communication plans and strategies;
  • Experience with Online Marketing and communication like Social Media management, Online campaigns and Website optimizations (including SEO);
  • Exceptional writing, communication and storytelling skills;
  • Fluent in English and in the possession of a work permit for the Netherlands.
