Would you like to play a key role in introducing successful Mars products to countries and markets around the world? Mars Nederland is looking for an Interim Activity Manager who will coordinate the launch of products in their regions. This role is not about developing new products, but about helping them reach new audiences.
You will work within the Activity Management team, a central hub in Mars where planning, marketing, supply chain, and sales meet. As a temporary replacement for a colleague, you’ll focus on the “bite size” product segment (think: M&M’s and Maltesers) and collaborate with a friendly, experienced, and international team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in structured processes, enjoys working with various stakeholders as the Single Point of Contact, and knows how to navigate large organizations with ease—even when things get complex.

Your impact
As Interim Activity Manager, you’ll act as a project manager for product launches of items from the Mars portfolio. You’ll:

Coordinate the introduction of these products into new or existing countries and markets (either temporary promotions or permanent launches).

Clarify and align the intent of the request: Is it seasonal? For supermarkets or sports clubs? What quantities are needed?

Engage cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Supply, and Compliance.

Ensure all product launches are delivered according to the QuEST governance process and support the local S&OP+ cycle.

Monitor timelines, identify risks, and adjust plans when needed.

Optimize and improve the introduction workflow where possible.
You’ll be the Single Point of Contact for these activities, ensuring operational excellence, market fit, and alignment with Mars' international strategy.
Offer & details
- Start date: as soon as possible
- End date: December 31, 2025
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week
- Location: Veghel (hybrid: at least 2 days on site)
- Employment type: Interim assignment via SMS Intermediair (not a freelance role)
- Salary range: € 5000 - € 6000 gross per month (incl. 8% holiday allowance)

If you’ve previously worked as a Product Manager or Project Manager in a large (FMCG) organization, you’ll likely recognize many aspects of this role. You’ll be based at Mars Nederland’s office in Veghel, with flexibility to work remotely. Preferably, you’re available on-site at least on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What you bring
Must-haves:
- A bachelor’s (HBO or WO) degree.
- Experience in project or activity management.
- Strong communication and coordination skills (fluent in English).
- A process-oriented mindset and affinity with structured workflows.
- Confidence to manage stakeholder expectations and align teams.
- Available as soon as possible, ideally with no vacation planned in September.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in a similar role within a large (international) organization.
- Familiarity with FMCG, product portfolios, or activity planning.
- Dutch language skills are a plus.
