As Technical Assessment Employee you are part of the Supply Chain Engineering Department and you will take care of all necessary documents to get a correct sleeve and pouch specification, which is needed for the factories to deliver on time and according to customer specifications. You work closely together with your technical assessment collegue in the Netherlands, in Spain and in the UK. Your main tasks consist of:
- Assessing new sales requests (shrink sleeves and pouches) for feasibility, choice of materials, dimensions etc.
- Advising the internal and external customers about achievable shrinkage results and participating in customer validation processes. You are the point of contact for daily technical questions and therefore you work closely with your colleagues from the systems solutions, sales, customer service and artwork departments. Travelling within Europe to factories and customers is therefore part of the job
- Generating technical drawings in ArtiosCAD
- Assessing test requests
- Maintaining the spec database for internal and external specs
